Frequently asked questions
We can work with our packaging team to weigh and measure a sample of your filled product to provide you with the most accurate information.
The process for reorders is more streamlined in the sense that you don't have to resubmit new artworks as we can use your previously approved versions. We also work from the Production Standard of your last order; this helps us work towards the same outcome as before. If you'd like to make any amendments to your artworks or packaging, this will require reworking and may add onto the re-orders lead time.
Whether to include barcodes is your brand's decision. We'd suggest to customers that barcodes are only necessary if you're planning on selling them in store or to manage stock levels within clinics/spas. If you have a unit carton, it would be sensible to include the barcode on your carton only to easily scan the product in it's box. You will need to register for a barcode externally using GS1 and work with your designer to incorporate this into your designs.
No, we can only send out finished goods which are fully branded products. We cannot supply bulk only to customers.
You must communicate with our sales team if this is something you're interested in to ensure it's achievable before we progress with next steps. If you wanted to sell internationally, we would need to work with you to obtain additional regulations and technical paperwork. You would also need a Responsible Person (RP) for everywhere you intend to sell to e.g. United States which must appear on your artworks/packaging.
Yes, all our Matrix formulations are compliant with the UK and EU regulations and therefore are ready to take to the UK and EU markets. Please note, if you're planning on selling to the EU as well as the UK, you need a Responsible Person for both.
Pelham's products are fully tested and manufactured on our site in the United Kingdom (UK), Hampshire.
You'll notice that all our Matrix pre-tested pack options for our SPFs aren't clear glass/plastic. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) formulas must be packaged in opaque/opal packaging to protect the active ingredients from degradation caused by exposure to light and air. This helps ensure that the product remains stable and effective for a longer period.
We work with a carton supplier who supply our standard Matrix unit cartons. This is a standard 2 colour print on white backed folding box board, we suggest a matte carton to our customers due to its premium feel. Based on your submitted artworks, our supplier would then cost you for any additional effects or up specs. Up specs could include soft touch varnish, foiling, spot glossing, embossing/debossing, grain/textured effects, different board types and liners. Please note that any up specs to our standard cartons will be subject to additional costs.
Our standard wrap labels are fully digital so you can get creative with your artwork colours and typography. We suggest a matte finish wrap label to our customers due to its premium feel. You can customise your label through foiling, metallic print, embossing/debossing, textured or clear labels. Please note that to up spec our standard labels you will be subject to additional costs. We recommend wrap labels to our Matrix customers because they're time and cost effective!
